I am so excited that spring is right around the corner! It’s the time of year that I get to add to my wonderful collection of outdoor décor that I have gathered over the last 30 years of traveling and shopping. There is nothing like walking down your sidewalk and having a small statue or planter bring back fond memories of a village in a faraway land or a shopping trip with your daughter. These treasures may not have cost much but the value they bring to my life cannot be measured in dollars and cents.
Over the last several years my family has helped me establish a lovely garden in a corner of my back yard where I can relax and spend some quiet time. Since I don’t get to go out as much as I once did I spend time shopping for garden décor on the Internet and have purchased some fun and interesting pieces. I especially love it when the grand kids help me choose my next garden treasure; another memory to cherish as the years go by.
