Not In The Mood To Exercise

Sometimes during the course of having a workout routine especially one that goes for an extended period of time there comes a point where you are just not in the mood to exercise. We’ve all been there. You blame it on the weather or you blame it on some important meeting that you just can’t miss, or you just complain to whomever is within earshot of you. Stop complaining and relax. Stop beating yourself and feeling guilty. Sometimes getting physical is not going to happen. So when the moment you don’t feel like exercising try to use that time you’ve allowed to do something different. Try getting a massage. Ahhhhh. Try to take a yoga class. Ahhhhh. Do some meditation. Ummm.

If you need convincing try some new exercise equipment to perk it up. Ever hear of trying some balance equipment to work on your coordination and balance? What if you can get some renewed energy from a Pilates mat workout session? Would it be of interest to you to gain a stronger core? Sometimes you have to look at other avenues of fitness. So maybe your mood not to exercise was more to do with being bored. If that is the case then looking into different physical fitness outlets is worth the effort.
