I used to think that having a small greenhouse was a waste of money and effort. However, over the last two years I have drastically changed my mind. In fact, I do not ever want to go back to not having my small greenhouse. Before, you would find my home filled with trays of starter plants on a grow light hinging from the table in my living room. As the plants grew, I would transfer them into larger containers only to place them outside on nice warm days and then inside wherever I could find the space. Needless to say, my entire household couldn’t wait until it got warm enough for me to plant the garden each year.
Now, everything is contained in my small greenhouse and I can keep seedlings coming as long as I want them. It lets me plant less and use more! Even my daughter asked for a mini greenhouse kit this year to take with her to college and use on the balcony of her apartment to grow fresh lettuce and herbs. It just makes things easier and much cleaner!
